What We Believe

THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible to be the only infallible, inerrant and final authority in all matters of faith, practice, and doctrinal truths. The Bible is God’s Holy Word revealed to chosen and trustworthy authors to write so that we as Kingdom Citizens will have a guide to live by and be all that God created us to be in the earth.

THE GODHEAD: We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ – being both God and man - John 1:14; John 8:58; Colossians 1:19 … Jesus Christ, who is the fullness of the godhead – Colossians 2:9

SALVATION: We believe that Salvation is through the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross, which Christ being the ONLY means of salvation. The moment an individual receives Jesus into their life by the confession of faith in His (Jesus’) life, death, burial and resurrection they are saved – Romans 10:9-10, Acts 16:30, Hebrew 9:22

HOLY SPIRIT: We believe that Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus Christ who dwells inside of us, and who leads, guides and protect us as we follow His leading.  One of the greatest benefits of the indwelling of Holy Spirit is the ability to speak in tongues (glossolalia) as the spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), yet Holy Spirit not limited to tongues, but the fruit of Holy Spirit is obtaining love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).  This promise is a gift from God and it’s not dependance of an individual’s worthiness.

(John 3:3-7, Acts 2:38, Ephesians 1:13).

REPENTANCE: We believe that repentance is a Godly decision to turn away from sin and unrighteousness in its entirety yet turning towards righteousness and living a holy and victorious lifestyle that pleases the father. This allows us to receive Christ’s forgiveness and redemption through regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

CHURCH ORDINANCE: A HOLY ORDER given to the Church by Jesus Christ Himself. Christ gave the Church 2 ordinance to follow:

A. Baptism in Water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins – Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16;

B. Holy Communion (or the Lord’s Supper) is a time to reflect on the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a time of fellowship and communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice (the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ) are taken in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross. Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 10:16, 11:23-25

SANCTIFICATION: We Believe that the sanctification process is a definite, yet progressive work of God’s grace upon man, which leads to holiness (Romans 6:22), and righteousness as God has called us to a lifestyle of holiness (1 Peter 1:16).

THE CHURCH: We believe that the Church is a body of born-again believers, called to fulfill the great commission which Christ Himself commissioned us to carry and preach throughout the world until all have heard this great gospel. – Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11; 20-23, And to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ over all things in heaven, and in earth and under the earth. (Philippians 2:9-10).

UNITY: We believe that we are One Body of Believers edifying and strengthening one another in the unity of the faith, through the advancement of God’s Kingdom in the earth. (Ephesians 4:16, Galatians 3:28-29, Acts 2:42).

RESURRECTION: We believe that Jesus Christ was risen from the dead 3 days after His death. Both the believers and the unbelievers; will one day face final judgement. Those that are saved will receive the resurrection of life, and those who are unbelievers will receive the resurrection of death and damnation. Luke 24:16; John 2:19-21;

SECOND COMING: We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return to the earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom on the earth. Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15- 17; Revelations 1:7

DIVINE HEALING: We believe that because of Christ sacrifice we have a right to full healing. Healing was also a part of Christ’s earthly ministry. Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers.  Healing is the Children’s bread.  These signs shall follow them that believe. Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14-16; Romans 11:29; 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28;
