The Intern Program of Acceleration Church is designed to train, equip, educate and help you establish a foundation for your God-given call.  Please understand that these are volunteer (unpaid) positions. As an intern you will build friendships with other interns, as well as grow spiritually in your relationship with Christ.

 

As an intern, you will learn skills that you can put on your resume and use us as a job reference for the real world.  If you are a High School or College Student needing community hour credits this internship program is for you.

AC | HOSPITALITY TEAM
The Hospitality Team is responsible for providing light refreshments for volunteers and staff of Acceleration Church every Sunday and during each major worship gathering. They also provide these services for special events and meetings. No experience is required to serve on this team.

AC | CONNECTION TEAM
The Connection Team are the first people you meet when entering the church lobby. The team is composed of welcome greeters, guest services and VIP. Our main objectives are: to be a bridge for newcomers and regular attendees to access BOTH information and relationship and to be responsive to both the immediate and short term needs of the church and its people. Greeters welcome all our guests, direct and escort them, develop initial relationships, and hand out bulletins. Guest Services is where we can have an open dialogue with guests regarding Acceleration Church events, services, and ministries. VIP greet everyone but especially the First Time Guests and hand out Welcome to Acceleration Church packets.

AC | MEDIA & PRODUCTION TEAM
The goal of Acceleration Church Media & Production Team is to help us share God’s Word globally, with a spirit of excellence, using audio and video technology, creativity and numerous facets of multimedia production to expand the audience of Pastor Derrick Parker and Acceleration Church, while empowering each person’s growth spiritually and innovatively in a team environment. Positions we have available are: Camera Operators, Motion Graphic Designers, Video Editors, Video Engineers, Media Operators, Audio Engineers, Directors, Multimedia Presentation Techs, Stagehands, Still Photographers, Video Librarian, Information Technology Techs, and Light Engineers.

AC | ENVIRONMENTS
Environments is designed to support every aspect of the ministry. This team will assist before, during and after every service or event held at Acceleration Church. This includes setting up for all worship gatherings and events – setting up and moving chairs, tables, lights, cameras, sound equipment, retractable and backdrop banners, and breaking down after every event.  Environments are also responsible for making sure the facility is in order after every event.  Environments is the force behind Acceleration Church!

AC | A-KIDZ
Acceleration Kids (A-KIDZ) has numerous volunteer opportunities such as: Bible Story Teachers, Registration Attendants, Service Coordinators, Lead Teachers and assistants. We would like to provide you the opportunity to experience the reward of teaching, assisting and equipping our children.

AC | PARKING TEAM
The Parking Team is responsible for traffic control and outdoor engagement with members and visitors throughout A.C. parking lots. They are often the first face new visitors will see.
